You can help us protect the Roseate Tern and its habitat by:

  • avoiding islands with tern colonies;
  • being on the lookout for signs like this
    which identify sites to avoid;
  • staying at least 200 meters away from tern nests;
  • keeping your dog on a leash when walking in coastal areas;
  • not attracting predators by removing garbage and food wastes in coastal areas; and
